It is submitted that the earlier applications of the project proponent was refused by the Competent Authority of the Board due to certain observations mentioned therein. The project proponent has now applied for partial consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. However, the overall discharge of the effluent remain the same. The project proponent needs to clarify regarding the same within 03 days so as to proceed further in the matter. |
