<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">The Regional Office has informed that the marriage palace is not generating any trade effluent and domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer after treatment through Oil & Grease Trap followed by Septic tank. It has been further informed that the marriage palace is discharging its domestic effluent into MC, Payal's sewer, which is further connected to terminal STP of 1.5 MLD capacity. But, the STP is non-operational since long and is also found non complying with discharge standards. So, the marriage palace requires to provide proper STP for treatment of domestic effluent. Accordingly, it has been recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to the marriage palace with an opportunity of personal hearing at Zonal Office level.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">But, i am of the opinion that the proper operation of STP Payal is the responsibility of concerned Local Body and for non-opeartion of STP Payal, action is required to be taken against Executive Officer of said Local Body.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that:</span></p>

STP Payal by incorporating its analysis results of previous 6 months.</span></p>
