In view of facts mentioned by AEE in his note, the AEE has mentioned that the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974, the Air Act, 1981 and SOPs prepared by CPCB for such type of units and the industry is lying closed since last six months and same will start its operations after obtaining Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. In view of above, It is therefore, recommended that short term consent to operate (CTO) may be granted under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special condition that the industry shall not procure Waste Fixer of Photograph/ x-ray without obtaining Actual user certificate from the Board.</span></p> |
