<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that, the industry is a small<span style="color: red;"> </span>scale red category washing/printing unit. The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/18616711 dated 24.05.2022 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/18616706 dated 24.05.2022 for the production of knitted cloth & garments @ 5000 kgs/day and printing & washing of cloth @ 2000 kgs/day with domestic effluent @ 21.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through septic tank and trade effluent @ 18.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP, which are valid upto 23.11.2022. Further the directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 were issued to the PSPCL authorities to restore the electric connection of the unit temporarily upto 23.11.2022 vide Board’s letter no. 3187 dated 24.05.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the production of knitted cloth & garments @ 5000 kgs/day and printing & washing of cloth @ 2000 kgs/day with domestic effluent @ 21.0 KLD into sewer and trade effluent @ 18.0 KLD into sewer. The industry has deposited Rs. 28,800/- vide UTR. no. N305222186813114 dated 01.11.2022 under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 31.12.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 16.11.2022 and it was observed that:-</span></p>

During the visit wet process was not in operation hence the effluent sample could not be collected.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Earlier an </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">effluent sample was collected from the outlet of ETP on 14.09.2022 and the same was sent to the Board’s lab for analysis. As per the analysis report, various pollutants at the outlet of the ETP were found as follows </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">pH = 7.9, TSS = 13 mg/l, TDS = 1077 mg/l, COD = 38 mg/l, BOD = 8 mg/l and O & G = BDL. As per the results all the parameters are within the limits prescribe by the Board.</span></p>

The industry is using wood was being used as fuel. The industry has installed separate dust collectors as APCD and common stack of adequate height with both boiler and thermopac.</span></p>

DG sets of capacities 380 KVA and 250 KVA with canopy inside the premises. </span></p>
