<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">It is intimated that earlier the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide online reference No. CTOW/Renewal/PKT/2018/7654143 & CTOA/Renewal/PKT/2018/7654046 dated 25/05/2018 with certain conditions as mentioned therein, which were valid upto 30/09/2022 for the operation of stone crusher for production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 4000 CFT/Day, Washed Sand 1400 CFT/Day, Rori @ 2000 CFT/Day & Gole Bajri @ 600 CFT/Day from River Bed Material @ 8000 CFT/Day. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Show cause notice for revocation of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was issued to stone crusher with an opportunity of personal hearing dated19/07/2022 at Regional Office, for violations of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. During the personal hearing, the representative of the stone crusher informed that they have recently purchased the stone crusher and adequate steps will be taken to fulfill the compliance of code of practice and norms of pollution control laws within short time period. Further, he prayed that he must be given an opportunity to cover the minor lapses and requested to grant some time to apply for obtaining fresh consents of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">After hearing, the Officer of the Board and representative of the unit, it was decided that, as the stone crusher has been purchased by the new owners and has not informed to the Board, therefore, consent to operate granted to the stone crusher under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be revoked vide this office letter no. 1758 dated 09/08/2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Now the stone crusher has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of stone crusher through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF. The stone crusher has submitted new partnership deed of its new partners. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">The stone crusher has deposited Rs. 16000/- vide online UTR No. 622210631 dated 14/11/2022 and Rs. 16000/- vide online UTR No. 867240522 dated 14/11/2022 as consent to operate fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 500/- as application fee respectively and same are adequate upto 30/09/2027 under both Acts against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 35,43,116/- as on 10/11/2022 as per CA certificate submitted by the stone crusher. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Presently all stone crushers of the State are not in operation and therefore the stone crusher will be visited after its operation to verify compliance made by under Environmental Laws.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -16.7pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2027 for the operation of stone crusher for production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 4000 CFT/Day, Washed Sand 1400 CFT/Day, Rori @ 2000 CFT/Day & Gole Bajri @ 600 CFT/Day from River Bed Material @ 8000 CFT/Day as per policy of the Board in light of the discussion by your good self in light of officer meeting held at Head Office, Patiala and without visiting the unit/site in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016 with suitable conditions along with special conditions:- </span></p>

No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.</span></p>
