The application of the industry has been scrutinized and it is observed as under:
1. The NOC granted to the industry for manufacturing of zinc @ 5 MTD for discharge of trade effluent @ 20 KLD after treatment in ETP of capacity 50 KLD alongwith RO system for disposal onto land for plantation. Now, as per fresh Consent to Operate application the trade effluent generation @ 15 KLD shall be reused back after treatment in ETP of capacity @ 25 KLD, this needs to be clarify.
2. The industry needs to submit application under large scale.
3. As per condition no. 6 of NOC granted to the industry, the industry is required to provide completion/adequacy assessment report w.r.t. design and installation of APCD from PSCST at the time of commissioning of unit.
The industry is requested to clarify the observations within 3 days to further process the application.
