<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for partial Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for </span></span><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">17000<span style="background: white;"> </span>Numbers/Day, <span style="background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>Bird Feed<span style="background: white;"> @ </span>2 Metric Tonnes/Day<span style="background: white;"> for the production of eggs @ </span>17000<span style="background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>no./day under green category with requisite documents. </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry has deposited Rs. 22000/- vide Receipt No. 369253219 dated 02.11.2022 on account of consent fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 against the fixed assets of Rs. 46.07 lakh as on 17.10.2022 as per latest CA certificate submitted by the industry. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.12.2031 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 .</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The poultry farm was visited by AEE of this office on 05.11.2022. During visit, it was observed as under:-</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">1. The poultry farm has constructed one no. sheds for layer birds. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">2. The industry shall put approx. 17000 no. of birds in the layer shed </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">3. The birds droppings will be collected be collected below and same will be used by farmers as manure in their fields</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">4. The industry is in a process of constructing pucca pit for the dead birds. The industry was also advised to make agreement with CBWTF for incineration of the dead birds. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">5. No problem of flies or odour was observed during the visit. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">6. The industry is complying with the conditions of the NOC granted to it as well as the code of practice prescribed by the Board .</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">Keeping in view of above, it is therefore, recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 for the production of eggs @ </span></span><span style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">17000<span style="background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>no./day under green category may be granted to the poultry farm upto 31.12.2031 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions as under:-</span></span></span></p>

Ltd., Ludhiana for proper / safe disposal of the dead birds. </span></span></p>
