<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the industry was granted 'Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO-1/LDH/RO-1/APC/2013/V-3244 dated 31.01.2013 valid up to 30.06.2018 and ZO-1/LDH/RO-1/WPC/2013/V-4252 dated 31.01.2013 valid up to 30.06.2018 under red category for electroplating.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter the industry closed down its electroplating process and continued its operation, i.e. machining and welding of garden tools and shovels. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now the industry has proposed to add powder coating process in addition to other non-polluting process and has applied for consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 under orange category. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: .3pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 8400/- vide no. AXIC223137874539 dated 09.11.2022 under Water Act, 1974. Rs. 8400/- vide no. AXIC223137874743 dated 09.11.2022 as NOC regularization fee. Rs. 8400/- vide no. AXIC223137874186 dated 09.11.2022 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 08.11.2023</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: .3pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> To verify the facts the industry was visited by Environmental Engineer of this office on 18.11.2022 & observed that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The manufacturing process involves Cutting, welding, cold pressing, powder coating.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed 8 nos. presses and other non-polluting machinery. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided one powder coating booth, which is equipped with multi cyclone and stack of adequate height. The powder coating collected at the bottom of multi cyclone is re-used. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has also installed one electric oven for heating and maturing of powder paint.</span></p>
