<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category unit, earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 for the production of Dyeing of Acrylic Yarn/Cloth @ 6 MT/day with operation of one boiler of capacity 10 TPH with cyclone separator, which is valid upto 05.05.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 for the production of dyeing of Yarn/Cloth @ 6 MT/day with operation of one boiler of capacity 10 TPH and One Thermic Fluid Heater of 15 Lac Kcal/hr capacity with cyclone separator. The industry had already deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.06.2036.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by the officer of RO on 15.11.2022 and it was observed that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was in operation and engaged in the process of dyeing of cloth only.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed 11 soft flow dyeing machines of capacities (1X600 kg, 3x450 Kg, 4x300 Kg, 2x200 Kg & 01x50 Kg) in its premises. Total installed capacity of soft flow machines are 3600 Kg.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The entire trade effluent as well as domestic effluent was being discharged into dedicated sewer system leading to CETP 15 MLD after collecting in into a collection tank.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. Earlier the industry had installed only one boiler of capacity @ 10 TPH with Cyclone separator as an APCD. Now the industry has added one thermic fluid heater of capacity 15 Lac Kcal/hr with Cyclone separator as an APCD. The industry was using rice husk as fuel in its boiler and thermopac and has also provided the common stack of adequate height with both.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. The industry has now added dry machinery inside the premises i.e. 01 Slater Machine, 02 Raising machines, 01 stunter and 01 Thermopack due to which the asset value of the industry has been increases. Industry has not added any water polluting machinery inside the premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. Earlier the air emission sample from the porthole of stack after APCD of the Boiler installed by the industry was collected on 22.04.2022 and as per the analysis report the concentration of particulate matter was found 250 mg/Nm3 against the prescribed limit of 500 mg/Nm3. Hence, the same was found complying with the provisions of Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7. The industry has installed 02 DG sets of capacities 250 KVA & 125 KVA fitted with canopy.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">8. The industry is complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> In view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of one boiler of capacity 10 TPH and One Thermic Fluid Heater of capacity 15 Lac Kcal/hr may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions and special condition that the industry shall get the stack emission sample of thermopack from Board's lab, within 2 months</p>
