<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The project proponent has proposed to establish a small scale red category dyeing unit. The project proponent has applied for obtaining fresh Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for the production of dyeing & processing of fabrics @ 5 T/day with the proposed disposal of trade effluent @ 180 KLD onto land for plantation after ETP (Plantation Area is 2.25 Acres) and generation of domestic effluent @ 10.0 KLD onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry has deposited NOC fee, which is adequate for one year.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The proposed site was visited by the AEE of RO on 09.11.2022 and it was observed that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The proposed site is situated near Madhur Craft, Satowal Road, Village Seera, Ludhiana.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The proposed site is a vacant plot and no construction activity is started at site yet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has proposed to set up a dyeing & processing of fabrics @ 5 T/day at site.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has proposed to install 06 soft flow dyeing machines of capacity (300 KGX4) and (150 KGX2) inside the premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The unit has also submitted the feasibility report of the ETP of capacity 200 KLD. The treated trade effluent @180 KLD shall be discharged onto land for plantation at area of about 2.25 Acres, which is adequate to manage the discharge.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has submitted the land documents alongwith the application form.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has proposed to install one boiler of capacity 4 TPH with cyclone separator as APCD. The industry will use rice husk as fuel.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8. <!--[endif]-->The industry has submitted copy of area classification certificate obtained from DTP, Ludhiana vide no. 1267/DTP(L)/M2A dated 26.05.2022 mentioning that the site of the industry falls in Industry Land Use Zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana (2007-2031). Hence, the site is suitable to set up the proposed unit at site.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with the suitable conditions and special conditions that the industry shall not commission its process without obtaining consents to operate of the Board.</p>
