<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that R.O reported that the project proponent was granted E.C by SEIAA vide letter no. SEIAA/2018/913 Dated 16.07.2018 for the development of residential flats @431 in an area of 21317 sq meter land, built-up area @46622 sq meter, and area under green carpet @3208 sq meter.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The total wastewater generation from the project will be 233 KLD, which will be treated in an STP (based on SBR Technology) of a capacity of 350 KLD). As proposed, the reuse of treated wastewater and discharge of surplus treated wastewater @ 233 KLD shall be as below:</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> P.P was earlier granted CTE (NOC) dated 01/12/2020, valid up to 30/9/2022 for the development of residential flats @365 flats in the revenue estate of village khanpur in an area of the disposal of 197 KLD treated effluent (i.e. 22 KLD under green area, 64 KLD flushing and 111 KLD into MC sewer Kharar.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">PP has applied for obtaining an extension on the validity of CTE.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">R.O has reported that the PP has installed STP to treat the effluent generated and STP was in operation. The PP has made a valid agreement with the adjoining farmer for the disposal of treated effluent onto land for a plantation area of 1 acre, the construction work of high rise building project is under progress. RO has also reported that P.P is complying with the NOC conditions granted under Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, and EC conditions.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved, the CTE (NOC) granted by the Board may be extended for one year to the project proponent with additional conditions as proposed by E.E. An additional condition may be imposed that </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1. The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to the STP, Zirakpur without prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2. The PP shall install the smog gun in the present with immediate effect</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3. The PP shall not carry out any type of construction in the area reserved for plantation till the upgradation and enhanced capacity of the STPs installed by the MC is adequate and sewer connection is granted by the MC authority.</span></p>
