<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> The project proponent has applied for fresh consent to establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Automotive and Engineering Castings @ 40 MTD from Pig Iron @ 5 MTD, Cat Iron Scrap @ 25 MTD, Mild Steel Scrap @ 11 MTD, Silica Sand @ 0.5 MTD & EPS Bead @ 0.1 MTD in small scale industry in Orange Category. </p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> As per report, the site was visited by the AEE on 01.11.2022 and observed that the site is located in Village Simbli, Phagwara to Hoshiarpur road.The boundary wall work is completed and foundation work is under progress. The industry has proposed to install 01 no. Induction Furnace of Capacity 2 TPH, 02 no. shot blasting machines, 01 no. Boiler of capacity 1 TPH with cyclone separator as APCD in which wood & briquettes will be used as fuel. , 01 no. sand plant DE system with bag filter as ACPD. The industry has proposed to install STP of capacity 10 KLD to treat the domestic effluent and will be discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has submitted certificate in principle approval from District Administration, Hoshiarpur bearing no. 2205932996 dated 14.07.2022 valid upto 13.01.2026. During the course of validity of the certificate of In Principle Approval, the enterprises shall at any time but not later than three years from the date of issue of the certificate, apply and obtain all applicable regular approvals from the concerned departments through the single window system of Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion (PBIP). The industry submitted document issued by Addl. Director & Factories, Punjab-Cum- Member Secretary, Site Appraisal Committee, Punjab regarding SAC proceeding dated 21.09.2022 in which from the part of Environment, it has been written that the Department of STE- the proposed production capacity of the unit is less than 30000 TPA, as such the said project is exempted from obtaining Environmental Clearance.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> The industry was issued<strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> </span></strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">notice without hearing to reply within 15 days and now RO has reported that</span><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></strong></span>they have applied PSCST for giving design of APCD alongwith fee and it will take 14-15 days. It is recommended that NOC to the industry may be granted with special condition to install APCD as per PSCST design. </p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> In view of report of RO, if approved, Cpnsent to establish( NOC) may be granted to the industry for one year with special conditions that :</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span lang="EN-IN">1) The industry shall obtain permission from the CGWA/PWRDA.</span></p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">2) The industry shall obtain all applicable regular approvals from the concerned Departments.</p>
