Earlier, the brick kiln was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 dated 11.02.2021 valid upto 30.09.2025 which was revoked vide letter no. 1979 dated 30.06.2022 for storing illegal fuel in its premises. Also directions u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 vide letter no. 2797 dated 05.09.2022 for disconnect of its electric connection. The component authority of the Board has also issued directions u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 vide letter no. 2797 dated 05.09.2022 for suspension of its brick kiln license to the DFSC, Jalandhar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: .35pt 6.95pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> The PSPCL has disconnected the electric connection vide TDCO on dated 19.09.2022 with final reading on meter as 17502.46 kwh. The DFSC,Jalandhar has revoked the license of the BKO vide letter no. 3612 dated 20.10.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-right: 7.05pt; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.05pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Now, the BKO applied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and for restoration of electric connection.</span> <span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The site of the BKO was visited by AEE on 07.11.2022 and observed that the BKO was not in operation and its electric connection found disconnected. The BKO has now stabilized its roads. No unauthorized fuel was now found stored inside the premises of the BKO. The BKO has also submitted an undertaking that they will not use any unauthorized fuel in future.The BKO has been converted to the induced draft technology and has already deposited the adequate EC during the previous consent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> The Regional Office has approved for grant of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 to BKO for six months.</span></p>
