It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) of the Board vide no. CTE/Fresh/PTA/2017/5054460 dated 06/02/2017, valid upto 05/02/2018 for manufacturing of Combine Parts/ Agricultural Implements/ Repairing @ 6 Numbers/Day by using Angle, M.S. Sheet, Pipe @ 800 Kgs/day as raw material with suitable conditions mentioned therein. The industry was also granted validity of Consent to Establish (NOC) from pollution angle vide no. CTE/Ext/PTA/2019/9635241 dated 05/04/2019, valid upto 05/02/2020 with same terms and conditions mentioned in the original letter.  Now the industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Combine Parts/ Agricultural Implements/ Repairing @ 6 Numbers/Day by using Angle, M.S. Sheet, Pipe @ 800 Kgs/day as raw material alongwith requisite documents.  The industry has submitted a approved building plan from the Competent Person approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry deposited Rs. 8800/- Vide online receipt no. 14293692 dated 03.11.2022 & Rs. 4400/- Vide online R. No. 642113203 dated 17.11.2022 as water consent fee and Rs. 8800/- Vide UTR. No. 303864767 dated 03.11.2022 & Rs. 4400/- vide online R. No. 243141833 dated 17.11.2022 as air consent fee against the fixed assets of Rs. 21.96 lakh as on 31.05.2022 as per CA certificate dated 31.05.2022, which is adequate upto 31.12.2024. The industry has also deposited Rs. Rs. 2200/- Vide online R. No. 642113203 dated 17.11.2022 as NOC extension fee. The industry has visited by the undersigned on 05.11.2022. S Tirath Singh, Proprietor of the industry was contacted at the time of visit. During visit, it was observed as under: <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.25in;">1.     The industry was in operation during visit. <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.25in;">2.       The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of combine parts. <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.25in;">3.    The industry has installed welding sets and light engineering machinery in its premises. No boiler/furnace has been provided within its premises. <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.25in;">4.    The industry has installed D.G. set of capacity 40 KVA, with canopy and stack of adequate height. The industry is complying with conditions of consent to establish (NOC) granted by the under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. It is therefore recommended that CTO may be granted under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2024 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
