File Note: <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 14.98px; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The unit was granted consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981 for Retail &ndash; cum &ndash; shopping mall having Land of 11,133 Sq. mtrs., on 13.04.2022 valid upto 30.09.2022 &nbsp;subject to following special conditions-</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 18pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This consent is issued from pollution angle and the construction project shall obtain the statutory clearances / permissions from the other Govt. departments, as required.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 18pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The project proponent will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. built up area/land without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 18pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Symbol;">&middot;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Now, the unit has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 18pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Symbol;">&middot;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The unit was visited by AEE of Regional Office on 19.11.2022 and it was observed as under-</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1)&nbsp;&nbsp;The unit / mall was in operation during visit.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">2)&nbsp;&nbsp;The PP has provided oil &amp; grease trap for the effluent generated from the kitchen section, which is thereafter discharged into MC sewer. Also, untreated domestic waste water of the mall is disposed off into the M.C. sewer after treatment in septic tank, for which necessary permission has been obtained by PP from MC Bathinda.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">3)&nbsp;&nbsp;The PP has made an agreement with Municipal Corporation, Bathinda regarding disposal of solid waste of the project.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">4)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Two no. D.G. sets of capacity 1250 KVA installed and both are equipped with canopy and with adequate stack height.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">5)&nbsp;&nbsp;The unit is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981 as well as with previous consent conditions.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">6)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Building Plan has been approved vide File no.1190/C dated 28.03.2011 from MC Bathinda and the built-up area of the project is less than 20,000 sq. meters (copy of approved building plan attached.).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit for operation of Retail &ndash; cum &ndash; shopping mall for a period upto 30.09.2026 subject to the specific condition that the PP will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. built up area/land without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Competency : Chairman of the Board (Project cost above 50 crores)</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></p>
