<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category and the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, both valid upto 08.09.2022 for dyeing of PC/Cotton Fabrics @ 1500 Kgs/day with trade effluent @ 100.0 KLD onto land for plantation and domestic effluent @ 1.0 KLD onto land for plantation after septic tank.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry had already deposited consent fee, which are adequate upto 30.06.2029 under both acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by Officer of RO on 29.09.2022 and observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry is fabric dyeing unit and was not in operation during the visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed soft flow machines of capacity (400KgX1, 300kgX1, 200KgX5 and 100KgX1) inside the premises for the dyeing of fabric.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The industry has installed ETP for the treatment of effluent generated from the dyeing process. During the visit ETP was not in operation as the dyeing process was also not in operation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The ETP consists of Eq. tank, Chemical dosing (zig-zag), 02 primary tube settlers (parallel), secondary tube settler, filter and outlet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. The industry has developed about 6000 sq yard (1.2 acres) plantation area for the disposal and utilization of treated trade effluent to be generated from its process as well as domestic effluent, which is adequate.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. The industry has installed one Boiler of capacity of 02 TPH with cyclone Separate as APCD with adequate stack height and sampling arrangement. Argo waste/Rice husk were being used as fuel.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7. Earlier the air emission sample was collected on 10.01.2022 and the same was sent to the Board’s lab for analysis as per which the concentration of particulate matter is 239 mg/Nm3, which is within the prescribed limit of 500mg/Nm3.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">8. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity of 50 KVA, which is with canopy at site.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">9. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions.</p>
