<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">It is submitted that the industry vide its letter dated 15-11-2022 and through telephone, has clarified that the industry is in a process to apply for NOC of the Board. Due to this reason, the industry has applied for renewal of consent under the both Acts for shorter period of time i.e. for one year to regularize the existing capacity. As submitted by RO, the analysis results of samples collected during the visit from the ETP/STP indicate that the various parameters are within the prescribed limits. The industry has maintained the record of the energy meter as well as water meter and submitted copy of the same in this office. Further the industry has submitted that though the consents are obtained for a discharge of 75 KLD of treated effluent, however, the average discharge of the industry is 48 KLD. The industry has already developed the plantation area in 5720.43 sqm and the industry has already purchased agriculture land of 3.57 acre adjoining to the industry and the industry shall use this land for irrigation, if there is any requirement for discharge of treated waste water. Further, more no water logging or illegal disposal was observed by the visiting officer during the visit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;">In view of above, competent authority be requested to allow renewal of the consent granted under Water Act, 1974 upto 30.09.2023 subject to suitable conditions and special condition that :</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Segoe UI';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;">The industry shall apply for NOC of the Board for its expansion project within 15 days.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Segoe UI';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;">The industry shall not commission its unit under construction without obtaining varied consents of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Segoe UI';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;">The industry shall maintain adequate plantation area for disposal of its treated effluent at all the times.</span></p>
