However, the Board is granting consents to the industries which are disposing such effluent or spent acid to CETP operator at Focal Point, Phase-8, Ludhiana. This industry has also applied for authorization under Hazardous and other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016. The matter regarding requirement of authorization by industry as well as CETP operator is being dealt through application of the industry applied for authorization. </span></p>
