<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the industry was granted 'Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2018/7566664 dated 21.06.2018 valid up to 30.09.2024 and CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2018/7566705 dated 21.06.2018 valid up to 30.09.2024 by namely Wingsfield knitwear pvt. ltd., C-119, phase-v, focal point, Ludhiana for manufacturing of Knitwear for men, Women & kids @ 750 Pcs/day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 by namely M/s Indus Clothing Co. C-119, Phase-V, Focal Point, Ludhiana.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: .3pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> The industry has deposited Rs. 59400/- vide no. N304222184439061 dated 31.10.2022 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 10400/- vide no. N304222184471811 dated 31.10.2022 as NOC regularization fee, Rs. 59400/- vide no. N304222184452620 dated 31.10.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2029</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: .3pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: red;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">To verify the facts the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 14.11.2022 & observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was in operation during visit & engaged in manufacturing Of Knitwear for Men, Women & Kids @ 750 Numbers/Day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed ETP for treatment of its trade effluent generated from washing process, which is being discharged into sewer after treatment. Domestic effluent of the industry is being discharged into sewer. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed one wood fired baby boiler of capacity 0.8 TPH with stack of adequate height & cyclone as APCD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The effluent and air emission sample were collected during the visit, and as per analysis report received from Zonal Lab, Ludhiana vide no. 1774 dated 17.11.2022 and 1814 dated 21.11.2022, the concentration of SPM as well as other effluent parameters are within the limits prescribed by the Board.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> In view of above, it is recommended that 'Consent to Operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.09.2029 with suitable terms and conditions.</span></p>
