<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 22px; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">(ii) Now, the industry has applied for varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and has submitted that the industry will not be producing vanaspati ghee and instead refined oil @ 100 TPD would be produced. Also, the industry has applied for production of saila rice instead of raw rice. Therefore, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consents for following products:-</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.4px;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">(iii) The industry has submitted that there is no change in plant &machinery, which has been verified by the Regional Office, Faridkot. However, there will be an increase in trade effluent generation from consented 100 KLD to 210 KLD and the industry is under process of upgrading its ETP capacity to 500 KLD.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.4px;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">(iv) Regional Office has visited the industry on 09.11.2022 and found the industry to be complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and found that the industry is maintaining its record of water consumption, wastewater generation and ash generation & disposal. However, as per the record, the industry was found not in operation since last 3 months.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">Accordingly, Regional office has recommended for grant of CTOs to the industry for a period of six months alongwith special conditions.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">Recommended as proposed by Regional Office, Faridkot subject to the additional condition that the industry will not operate for production of refined oil greater than 100 KLD until it completes the installation of its ETP and commissions the same.</span></p>
