<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;">After hearing the officer of, the Board and Prop. of the Industry, Chief Environmental Engineer (B) Patiala decided that the Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Sangrur shall visit the site of the poultry farm personally to verify the contents of the report of SDM submitted by the industry during hearing, give clear cut report regarding suitability of site and process the consent applications on merits, within a week.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;">In compliance to the decision of the personal hearing the site of the poultry farm has been visited by the EE alongwith undersigned <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>on 17/11/2022 and contacted Sh. Sanjay Jindal at site. During visit, it was observed as under: -</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 90.0pt; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Poultry farm is having three no. of sheds and 45,000 birds approx.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 90.0pt; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Distance measurements were taken from Poultry farm towards phirni of village Dhura and details are given below: -</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 126.0pt; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">b.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Distance from wall of poultry farm to inward of phirni is 101 mtr approx.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 126.0pt; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level2 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">c.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Phirni is having approx. width of 6 mtr.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 90.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->There are about 15 residential houses falls within the radius of 100 mtr of the poultry farm.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 90.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Further, the matter was deliberated with Sh. Major Singh Kango (98140-41230) of the revenue department who is incharge of the area. He informed that while issuing certificate to any establishment w.r.t. distance from phirni of the village the distance is measured from the wall of first house inside the phirni to boundary wall of the establishment.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;">From the above, it is evident that if, the width of the phirni road is taken into count the poultry farm is fulfilling the siting parameter of maintaining 100 mtr from the phirni of the village.</p>
