<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">The industry was granted consents to operate upto 19.7.2023 with following special conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">The industry shall apply online for grant of Terms of Reference (ToR) followed by Environment Clearance as required under EIA Notification, 2006 and in accordance with MoEF notification no. S.O. 3250(E) dt 20.7.2022 within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">The industry shall get its stack emission sample analysed from Board’s Lab, within 1 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Vide note dated 1.11.2022, the Regional Office was requested to submit compliance of above conditions and to comment upon scale of the industry, as cost of plant and machinery is Rs. 834.98 lacs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Instead of replying, the said office has raised clarification to the industry, which submitted that it has already started the process of preparing documents and Term of References ready for getting the Environmental clearance</span><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"> and has ensured that the industry shall </span><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;">comply with latest notification of the govt and shall obtain EC within the stipulated period of one year as per notification</span>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">It is pertinent to mention here that the condition was imposed to apply online for grant of Terms of Reference (ToR) followed by Environment Clearance as required under EIA Notification, 2006 and in accordance with MoEF notification no. S.O. 3250(E) dt 20.7.2022 within one month. Further, no comment has been made w.r.t. emission sampling and scale of the industry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">The application is lying pending since long. If approved, Regional Office may be asked to send reply of all above clarifications today itself. </span></p> |
