CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2017/5557975 dated 30/06/2017 both which had expired on 30/09/2021 for production of</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%;"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Plastic Granuals @02 MTD subject to suitable conditions mentioned therein.<span style="color: red;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm .2pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents and consent fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm .2pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has deposited Rs. 11700/- vide UTR no. INDBN19049283447 dated 19.04.2022 and Rs. 17100/- vide UTR no. INDBN09119509146 dated 09.11.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 12200/- vide UTR no. INDBN19049283928 dated 19.04.2022 and Rs. 20000/- vide UTR no. INDBN09119506923 dated 09.11.2022. Taking into account penalty of 200% i.e. Rs. 7200/-, the consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2028, against the fixed assets of Rs. 64.68 lacs as on 31.01.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm .2pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">It is worth to mention here that at the time of previous ‘consent to operate’ the industry had submitted CA certificate of Rs. 30.50 lakhs, but now the industry has submitted CA certificate mentioning total value of assets of Rs. 64.68 lakhs. Accordingly, a clarification was raised on 18.11.2022 on the application of the industry and in reply to the same, the industry has replied as under:</span></p>

However, we want to inform you that there is “NO” increase in production and there is no addition of Machinery. Please renew our consents of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974”.</span></em></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm .2pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">It is worth to mention here that as per the office order dated 02/02/2016, it has been directed to process the cases of Orange and green category of industries solely on the undertaking submitted by the industry and since the project proponent has submitted the compliance report of the conditions imposed in the consent to operate granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the same may be considered as good as the undertaking to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Hence, the industry was not visited by undersigned since it has apply for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
