But it is engaged in disposing off only 27.35 MTA. From the above, it is very clear that it is disposing off its hazardous waste in illegal manner without informing Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">Further, during visit, adequate suction was observed at the side hoods of both the furnaces and the industry was found operating APCDs in proper manner. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">From which, it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and notice is required to be issued under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 only.</span></p> |
