<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is intimated that PP obtained ‘partial CTO ‘ under the Water Act, 1974 for the operation of 188 flats and total wastewater @ 102 KLD, 57 KLD (flushing 15 KLD green and rest for on to land for irrigation one acre) and 45 KLD discharge onto land for irrigation valid up to 30/9/22.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Now PP has applied for renewal CTO under the Water Act,1974 for the operation of 188 flats. </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">R.O. has reported that Presently, 45-50 families are residing in the residential colonies and also installed STP to treat the effluent generated from the project and STP was in operation. The PP has made a valid agreement with the adjoining farmer for the disposal of treated effluent onto land for a plantation area of 1 acre, the construction work of high rise building project is under progress. RO has also reported that P.P. is complying with the NOC conditions granted under Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, and EC conditions.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> If approved consent to operate under the Water ( Act, 1974 may be further renewed up to 30.09.2025 for the operation of residential flats @188 for total wastewater generation @ 102 KLD out of which 42 KLD for flushing 15 KLd green belt and 45 KLD for on to land for plantation developed as karnal technology for one acre after treatment with STP with suitable condition and special condition as proposed by EE, RO. An additional condition may be imposed that </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 1)The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to the STP, KHARAR without prior written permission of the Board</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2. The PP shall not carry out any type of construction in the area reserved for plantation till the upgradation and enhanced capacity of the STPs installed by the MC is adequate and sewer connection is granted by the MC authority.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> EE, RO shall visit the site to monitor the STP, verify the mode of disposal, verify the record maintained by PP regarding the operation of STP and water meter installed on its all modes of disposal, verify the compliance with environmental law, and send the report along with the recommendation. </span></p>
