<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">It is intimated that the industry was granted varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which are valid upto 31.12.2025 with conditions mentioned therein. Now, the industry has applied for consent to establish (NOC) for expansion for the production of Potato Mini Tuber (existing) @ 19500000 No./year and Potato Mini Tuber (Proposed) @3000000 No./year by installing one green house shed in addition to existing 08 No. green house sheds. The industry has submitted project report, earlier granted consents, site plan. The industry has deposited Rs. 24000/- vide Ref. No. </span><span style="font-size: 8.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #2b4973; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><br /></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">CITIN22347459270 dated 06.10.2022, which is valid for one year. The industry being Green Category Medium Scale Industry, so Competency lies with Senior Environmental Engineer. The industry was visited by officers of this office on 15.11.2022 and observed that the foundation work of green house is under process. There is no source of trade effluent, only domestic effluent is generated, which is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. Further, the industry has also proposed to install Two no. DG Sets of 750 KVA with canopy and <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>the industry has already installed 320 KVA DG Set with canopy and adequate stack height. The industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as well as with the conditions of consent granted to it under said Acts. In view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) for expansion may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable terms and conditions for installing one green house shed and Two no.
