<p style="text-align: justify;"> Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO. It is intimated that PP was earlier granted CTO the Water Act, 1974 dated 11/08/2019 validity up to 31/03/2022.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now PP has applied for the renewal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">RO has reported that the PP has complied with consent conditions granted to it under the Water Act, 1974.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">If approved CTO under Water Act,1974 applied by the PP may be further extended up to 30/9/25 with special conditions as proposed by EE, RO. An additional condition may be imposed that</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 1. The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to the STP, Kharar without prior written permission of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The PP shall not carry out any type of construction in the area reserved for plantation till the upgradation and enhanced capacity of the STPs installed by the MC is adequate and sewer connection is granted by the MC authority.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> EE, RO may also be requested to visit the site to monitor the STP, verify the mode of disposal and verify the compliance with environmental law and send the report along with the recommendation.</p>
