<p>RO has reported that industry is not in operation for the last nearly 03 months, hence effluent/emission samples could not be carried out. Lastly, the effluent & emission samples were collected in the month of 03/2022 and 03/2021 respectively. At that time effluent /emission samples were achieving the standards.</p>
<p>RO has further reported that the industry is in the process of enhancing the capacity of the ETP to 500 KLD. It is, therefore, recommended that the industry be granted short term consent (upto 30.06.2023) as proposed by EE (RO/ZO) subject to the condition that the industry shall put its effluent treatment plant into operation at least 02 months before restarting its plant so as to ensure stablization of effluent treatment plant before starting generation of effluent and inform the Board accordingly and also directions may be issued to RO for de-sealing of Saila plant. Simultanously RO may be asked to carry out effluent & emission sampling of the industry within one month after commissioning of the unit and thereafter submit report/ recommendations in the matter please. </p>
