<p>Sir, it is submitted that in order to verify the statement made by the representative of the industry, the industry was visited today i.e. 23.11.2022 by undersigned and it was observed as under :-</p>
<p>1. The industry has closed the radiator plant and is currently manufacturing only agriculture equipments as already mentioned in the agenda note.</p>
<p>2. The phosphating plant is operated seldomly as there is rare requirement of phosphating process in the agriculture implement manufacturing. The industry has placed an order for a new water meter for the water supply line in the phosphating process.</p>
<p>3. The faulty water meter earlier exisitng on the zinc plating line has now been replaced. The representative of the industry has informed that as the effluent generation is lesser, they are unable to operate the ETP ZLD plant properly as observed during the visit dated 07.11.2022 and they have principally decided that the entire effluent from the phosphating and zinc plating process shall be lifted to the CETP operator with which the industry has made an agreement @ 7000 Ltr/month. </p>
<p>4. The industry has got lifted 1800 Ltr effluent on 22.11.2022 to the CETP Operator. The storage tanks have now been cleaned by the industry</p>
<p>In view of above, it is recommended that short term CTO for six months be granted to the industry with special condition that :-</p>
<p>1. The industry shall get the entire effluent generated from the zinc plating and phosphating process to the CETP operator.</p>
<p>2. The industry shall maintain proper record regarding water consumption and effluent lifted and shall submit the details of the same to Regional Office 5th of every month.</p>
<p>3. The industry shall ensured that the new water meter is installed on the inlet line of the phosphating section within one week.</p> |
