Earlier the industry was granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/LDH1/2021/15916535 dated 24.07.2021 valid upto 23.01.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in 5.05pt .0001pt 14.35pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Thereafter the electric connection of the unit has been also restored upto 28.04.2022 vide ZO letter 4831-34 dated 21.11.2021 and this office was directed to move the case of Environmental Compensation if any to be imposed on industry for some violations, separately on through hard file for decision at the level of competent authority.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in 5.05pt .0001pt 14.35pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Thereafter industry applied for renewal 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974. The industry was visited by this office on 11.03.2022 & verified above mentioned facts and also observed complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0in 5.05pt .0001pt 14.35pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The consent to operate was granted to the industry for six months and amount of EC was reduced to one lacs from earlier calculated amount 60 Lac, considering unit being very small scale having plant & machinery value only 15.66 lacs and its land and building on rent </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Accordingly the industry was granted 'Consent to operate' under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2022/18091711 dated 22.04.2022 valid up to 21.10.2022 with special conditions that the industry shall deposit the amount of Rs. 1 lac as Environmental Compensation to the Regional office along-with temporary restoration of electric connection.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>

Ltd., Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting of its effluent @ 6000 Ltr/month.</span></p>

Ltd., Ludhiana. The detail of record enclosed herewith. As per record water consumption and lifting is almost in proportion.</span></p>
