CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/17209919 & CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/17210297 both dated 13.01.2022 valid upto 12.07.2022 each for dyeing of acrylic yarn @ 1 TPD with trade effluent @ 90 KLD into sewer after passing through ETP & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into sewer. The direction u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was restored temporarily upto 12.07.2022.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">B)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Thereafter, direction u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was issued vide this office letter no. 5852 dated 14.09.2022 to the PSPCL authorities to disconnect electricity supply of the industry after the expiry of temporarily restoration i.e. 12.07.2022.</span></p>

The application of the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were returned, due to incompletion.</span></p>

No. N288222164643011 dated 15.10.2022 under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 7200/- vide UTR. No. N288222164648976 dated 15.10.2022 under Air Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.03.2030 after deducting Rs. 1800/- as penalty under both acts. </span></span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed 11 cabinet machines of capacities (2 x 180 Kg, 8 x 60 Kg & 1 x 120 Kg in its premises. However, two cabinet machines of 60 Kg each are lying dismantled and without motors. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has also sister concern unit i.e. M/s New Amba Dyeing Unit-II, just located near to it. The study of effluent generation has been done by the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNE) combined for its both units i.e. M/s New Amba Dyeing & M/s New Amba Dyeing Unit-II. As per the combined GNE report of both the units, total effluent generation from its total 25 chamber of soft flow & </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">15 cabinet machines (60 Kg X 8, 120 Kg X 1, 180 Kg X 5)<span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> is 1066.4 KLD. However this unit has installed only 11 cabinet machines of capacities (2 x 180 Kg, 8 x 60 Kg & 1 x 120 Kg in its premises, out of which two cabinet machines of 60 Kg each are lying dismantled and without motors. Hence, net effluent generation from the balance 09 cabinet machines i.e. (2 x 180 Kg, 6 x 60 Kg & 1 x 120 Kg) will be 336 KLD as per GNE calculations.</span></span></li>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The total discharge of the industry from both of the unit was 1066.4 KLD as per GNE 2022 report against the allotted shares 822 KLD of CETP 50 MLD. Hence, there was excess discharge 244.4 KLD. Earlier, the 50% of total machinery of both the unit were already sealed by the Board. As per the share allotted to the industries as comparison its discharge 23% dyeing machinery of the industry was required to be sealed and remaining machinery was required to be de-sealed. On the basis of the request of the industry, the de-sealing of all the cabinet machine has been done on 17.10.2022 in this unit and only 01 soft flow machine of capacity 200 Kg was de-sealed in unit-II and 03 soft flow of capacity 200 Kg each, 01 soft flow of 400 kg & 02 cabinet of 100 Kg each are still sealed as observed during visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry is connected with the conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana for discharge its effluent. The industry has provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed one boiler of capacity 03 TPH with cyclone as APCD in which rice husk/ agro waste was being used as fuel and adequate stack has been provided.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has also installed one DG sets of capacity 60 KVA with canopy and adequate height.</span></p>

Level. </span></p>
