<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; color: black;">As discussed, earlier the directions were issued u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 & u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 vide ZO-II, Ludhiana letter no. 6119-21 dated 19.11.2018 for disconnection of the electric connection of the industry due to non-achievement of the prescribed standards of treated effluent & air emission. In-compliance the electric connection of the industry was disconnected by the PSPCL authorities. Thereafter, the electric connection of the industry has been restored temporarily 04 times for six months and industry was found complying during last 05 visits i.e. 24.06.20219, 27.10.2020, 20.11.2020, 05.05.2021 & 17.10.2022. Further, the air emission samples collected on visit 24.06.2019 & effluent samples collected on 27.10.2020 were found within limit</span>s. The industry now has joined the CETP 50 MLD.</p>
