<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is submitted that the hospital has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for 40 beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> The Hospital has submitted Rs. 21,500/- vide UTR No. CBINH22279368760 dated 06/10/2022 & Rs. 23,000/- vide UTR No. 102741136 dated 06/10/2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 2000/- as NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 500/- Form Downloading Fee which is adequate upto 30/09/2027. The HCF has submitted requisite documents along with the application which can be pursued. The HCF comprises of 10 beds and has capacity to generate effluent @ 18.0 KLD, for which the HCF has installed ETP of capacity 20 KLD to treat its effluent and has submitted feasibility report of the same. The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 24/11/2022 and observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The hospital has installed treatment plant for treatment of its effluent generated from hospital premises.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The hospital has installed ETP cum STP for treatment of its effluent generated from hospital premises and treated effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The HCF has provided color coded bins for collection/segregation of Bio Medical Waste, segregation of BMW found proper as per color codes.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The HCF has provided needle destroyers for shredding of needles.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The HCF is maintaining the record of Bio Medical Waste lifted to CBWTF.</span><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">7. </span> <span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;">During visit the representative was advised to install water meter at the outlet of the ETP and to maintain record regarding operation of ETP. (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 28.95pt; text-indent: -28.35pt; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a period upto 30/09/2027 subject to suitable conditions along with special condition the HCF shall analysed its treated effluent samples within 02 months from the Board Lab. </span></p> |
