<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale cattle feed unit and was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDHKH/2018/7028039 dated 13/02/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/LDHKH/2018/7027875 dated 13/02/2018 both valid upto 30/09/2022 for the manufacturing Cattle Feeds, Poultry Feed & Aquatic Feed etc. @ 188 TPD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents through OCMMS. The industry has earlier deposited consent fee of Rs. 42000/- vide R. no. 83/4926 dated 02/01/2018 and Rs. 42000/- vide R. no. 84/4926 dated 02/01/2018 under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and now Rs. 84000/- vide e-R no. 108473161 dated 12/10/2022 & Rs. 84000/- vide e-R no. 117330870 dated 12/10/2022 under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 against the un-depreciated fixed assets of Rs. 164.3 Lacs as on 31.03.2022 as per CA certificate dated 07/10/2022 which is adequate <strong>upto 30/09/2032 </strong>under Orange category as per Board's Office Order dated 29/10/2018 after deducting NOC regularization fee. There is no increase in the production capacity as well as pollution load due to increase in fixed assets. There is increase of Rs. 8.31 lacs in the fixed assets due to post capitalization of certain fixed assets.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Accordingly, the industry was visited by the undersigned alonwith SA, Air Lab, Head Office, Patiala on <strong>09/11/2022</strong>. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 27.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has installed 1 no. wood/briquettes/husk based Boiler of capacity 1 Ton with adequate stack height.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The site of industry falls in industrial zone as per the Master Plan of Khanna. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Moreover, the Board vide Head Office letter no. 768-97 dated 13/01/2021, decided as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: .15pt 4.1pt 12.0pt 4.5pt;"><strong><em><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">"The Board shall continue to grant consent to establish/consent to operate to the industries with the advisory to obtain necessary clearance for abstraction of ground water from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA). However, aforesaid clearance shall not be insisted upon by the Board at the time of grant of CTE/CTO to the industries."</span></em></strong></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">In view of above, it is therefore recommended that:</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in -.4pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">A.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">shall explore the possibility to use PNG as fuel for its boiler.</span></p>
