N321222210099882 dated 17.11.2022 including application form fee, against the cost of the project of Rs. 420.00 lakh (as per application form). The NOC fees deposited by the industry is adequate for one years. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has proposed to generate trade effluent @ 0.5 KLD from electroplating section and has proposed to get the same lifted from the operator of CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Air Pollution:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 6pt; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has proposed to install electrically operated induction furnace of melting capacity @ 350 kg/heat, which has been proposed to be provided with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has also submitted feasibility report dated 15.11.2022, issued by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, in this regard.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has proposed DG set of capacity @ 200 KVA which is equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 6pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"> </span></span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 6pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Applicability of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The process of the industry is not covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 6pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Applicability of SAC clearance:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">As per the land use classification letter submitted by the industry, the unit falls in ‘F.E.Z’ area, thus SAC clearance is not applicable.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 12pt 3.7pt 0.0001pt 0cm; text-indent: 2cm; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>if may approved, ‘consent to establish’ (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with usual conditions & with following special conditions:</span></p>

The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing. </span></p>
