<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is intimated that the workshop has applied for renewal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 along with further restoration of the electric connection.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved, the following action may be taken:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be further renewed up to 31/3/23 with the additional condition as proposed by EE, RO.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A special condition may be imposed that the industry shall apply authorization as required under the Hazardous & other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within 15 days. Regional Office shall visit the industry as per the protocol of the Board to monitor the ETP and other environmental laws.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to the PSPCL for temporary restoration of electric connection to the industry to 31/3/23.</span></p>
