<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry has submitted its written reply w.r.t., show cause notice issued to it vide Board’s letter no. 5471 dated 18.11.2022, in which industry submits as under-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry informed that they used to inform the operation status to the Regional Office, Bathinda verbally, but not in writing. The industry informed that their industry will be put in operation in few days / 10.12.2022 for the collection of air emission and water effluent sample.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry informed that they are replacing their old boiler of capacity 8 TPH based on paddy husk as fuel with boiler of same capacity 8 TPH based on paddy stubble as fuel. For this purpose, industry has collected 6000 T of paddy stubble in this year. The industry further informed that they will obtain NOC for expansion / change within 15 days.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of above it is recommended that the consent to operate of the Board under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable conditions.</p> |
