CTE/Fresh/TRT/2022/19659147 dated 31.08.2022 for operation of raw rice sheller unit <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>in the revenue estate of village Manhala Jai Singh, Patti, Distt. Tarn Taran.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Now, the project proponent has applied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for operation of rice sheller unit for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 2 TPH <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>along with sortex machine of capacity 2 TPH of sorted rice. Details of the case are as under: -</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36.0pt; mso-text-indent-alt: -18.0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>i.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has submitted CA certificate dated 31.05.2022 regarding its gross fixed assets of Rs. 2.57 crores. The industry has deposited Rs. 54,000/- each vide UTR.no. N314222201589450 and N314222201593123 dt. 10.11.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, respectively, it is adequate upto 30.09.2027 under both the Acts.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify;">In view of the above, the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice for rice sheller units dated 15.10.2013, It is therefore recommended that the industry may be granted <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to it for period upto 30.09.2027 for operation of rice sheller unit for manufacturing of raw rice @ 2 TPH with dryer along with sortex machine of capacity 2 TPH<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>of sorted rice, subject to the suitable conditions and specific as under:-</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(i)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall submit approved building from the concerned Authority and <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>rice production capacity certificate/paddy allotment certificate from the concerned department, within one month, , failing which consents to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 will be revoked/cancelled without any further intimation. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(ii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall not carry out expansion in its land area without prior permission of the Board.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(iii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">This consent is granted to the industry subject to the submission of analysis report of emission samples collected and analyzed by the Boards lab viz-a-viz achievement of the prescribed emission standards applicable to rice shellers and the industry shall get its emission samples of all stacks analyzed from Board’s lab within one month of its commissioning. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(iv)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry will always comply with the guidelines issued, as per Deptt. of Science Technology & Environment Govt. of Punjab Order No. 10/48/2004-STE (4)/932 dated 15.10.2013 and the industry will achieve the new standards of SPM prescribed by MoEF for Rice Sheller. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(v)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black;">T</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">he industry is bound to upgrade / replace its existing APCD as and when asked by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-left: 63.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 125%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(vi)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In case the industry plans to install any DG set within its premises, it shall install acoustic enclosure on the same as per the guidelines prescribed by the board.</span></p>
