<p>It is submitted that the poultry farm was established in </p>
<p>year 1998 as per the proof of commissioning submitted by it.</p>
<p>During that period Board's Office no. EE-II/Gen-I/198 dated </p>
<p>21.11.1995 was under prevalence and same is reproduced as </p>
<p>below:-</p>
<p>1. Industrial area of FEZ areas as demarcated by Town & Country </p>
<p>Deptt. of Punjab/Govt. of Punjab.</p>
<p>2. Out side 'Lal Lakir' as notified in each village and in case the </p>
<p>industry propos to uses solid fuel it should be located beyond </p>
<p>100 meters from 'Lal Lakir'.</p>
<p>It is evident that poultry farm has established in year </p>
<p>1998 outside the phirni/laal lakir of Village Dhura, therefore, the </p>
<p>poultry farm is complying with general sitting guidelines </p>
<p>prescribed by the Board at that point of time for poultry farms. </p>
<p>Thus, the site of the poultry farm is suitable for its operation at </p>
<p>the present site.</p>
<p>In the view of above it is recommended that consent to </p>
<p>operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 under </p>
<p>green category may be granted to the industry upto 31/3/2023 </p>
<p>for the production of eggs @ 32,000 no/day & Poultry feed (for </p>
<p>self consumption) @ 5.0 MTD by using birds @ 45000 no./day & </p>
<p>Poultry feed (Maize, Soya, Mustered, Sun Flower, DOC, Bajra, </p>
<p>Lime-stone & GNE etc) @ 5.0 MTD, subject to suitable conditions </p>
<p>and special conditions that:-</p>
<p>a) The poultry farm shall be bound to comply with guidelines of </p>
<p>Town and Country Planning, if the site of poultry farm falls in </p>
<p>non-designated area during finalization of Mater Plan of </p>
<p>Dhuri.</p>
<p>b) The poultry farm shall provide compost pits within its </p>
<p>premises for the management & handling of bird droppings in </p>
<p>its premises within 3 months.</p>
<p>c) The poultry farm shall comply with code of practice </p>
<p>prescribed by CPCB vide is notification No. CPCB/IPC-</p>
<p>V/NGT_OA-681/Poultry/2021/4944 dated 17.08.2021 in true </p>
<p>letter and sprit.<br /><br /></p> |
