Earlier the service station was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 Vide no. CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2018/7009098 dated 04.06.2018 valid upto 30.06.2021 and Vide no. CTOA/Fresh/JAL/2017/5395738 dated 17.07.2017 valid upto 30.06.2021 respectively.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 4.3pt .0001pt 5.4pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"> Thereafter, service station was visited by AEE of office, on 09.09.2020 and observed that chemical dosing was not being done in ETP. The effluent samples were collected from final outlet of ETP and as per analysis report parameters were pH-7.7, COD-120, TSS-110 and 0&G-24 and it was observed that TSS and O&G were beyond the permissible limits. Accordingly service station was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer Jalandhar on 18.11.2020 for revocation of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, wherein it was decided that:- </span></p>

The service station has deposit Environmental Compensation of Rs. 5,000 for the non-achievement of parameters and violations. The service station was asked vide this office letter no. 4849 dated 24.12.2021 to submit the extended Bank guarantee which got expired on 24.02.2021 but, it has failed to deposit extended bank guarantee of Rs. 1 lakh till date. The report of the sane has already sent to Zonal Office, Jalandhar vide this office letter no. 253 dated 25.02.2022.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 4.3pt .0001pt 5.4pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"> Now the service station has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Rs. 16450/- (Including Rs. 500 as application form fee) vides UTR No. 365634915 dated 25.01.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 15950/- vide UTR No. 327445167 dated 25.01.2022 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 30.06.2025. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: .05pt 4.35pt .0001pt 5.4pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"> The service station has failed to deposit extended bank guarantee of amounting Rs. 1.0 lakh which was already got expired on 24.02.2021.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 24.0pt; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 4.3pt .0001pt 5.4pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"> The service station has installed ETP for treatment of its trade effluent. The treated trade effluent is discharged onto land for plantation/lawn and garden developed at front of the industry. The domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry has installed 1 no. DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. The service station has already submitted letter from M.C Jalandhar vide no. 389 dated 24.08.2012 which is reproduced as below:-</span></p>
