CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2020/13772076 dated 20.10.2020 which was valid upto 31.03.2021 and the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2020/13772016 20.10.2020 which was valid upto 31.03.2021 subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The marriage palace was granted renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2021/15760662 dated 22.11.2021 which was valid upto 21.05.2022 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2021/15760643 dated 22.11.2021 which was valid upto 21.05.2022 subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Thereafter, the marriage palace was granted renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2022/18726234 dated 31.05.2022 which was valid upto 30.11.2022 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2022/18333154 dated 31.05.2022 which was valid upto 30.11.2022 subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the marriage palace has applied for obtaining further renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent had earlier deposited Rs. 25,700/- (Rs. 25,200/- on account of consent fees under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide Online Receipt No. 380342359 dated 14.09.2020 attached to online application no. 13772016 and Rs. 25,200/- on account of consent fees under the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide Online Receipt No. 778507560 dated 14.09.2020. The said fees deposited by the marriage palace was adequate upto 30/09/2023 against the cost of fixed assets of Rs. 194.95 lakh and in accordance with the revised fees structure dated 29.10.2018. The said fees deposited by the marriage palace is adequate upto 30.06.2023. Now, the project proponent has deposited Rs. 33600/- vide R. No. 151578477 dated 21.11.2022 under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 34100/- vide R. No. 301575697 dated 21.11.2022 under Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as FDF. The total fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 30.06.2027.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The marriage palace has also submitted compliance report of the conditions of the consent to operate earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The site of the marriage palace was visited by AEE of this office on 22.11.2022 and observed as under:</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">No function was observed during the visit.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has provided a septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from the marriage palace, which after treatment is utilized onto land for plantation. The project proponent has provided a lawn in an area of about 2000 sq yard for the disposal of the same. The promoter company has also made plantation along the boundary wall of the marriage palace and treated wastewater is also utilized for irrigation of the same. The project proponent has also provided oil &amp; grease trap for the wastewater generated from the kitchen before sending to septic tank. However, the project proponent also submitted that they procure readymade / prepared food from the third party during their functions.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed one DG set of 125 KVA capacity which is provided with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has developed the compost pits for the treatment and disposal of solid waste.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Marriage Palace is complying with the Board's letter no. PPCB/SEE(HQ-2)/2020/15176-78 dated 9/7/2020 for mechanism/guidelines for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms at individual establishments and the area / cluster of restaurants / hotels / motels / banquets etc.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.06.2027 subject to suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Consent/ Authorization/ Registration Application shall be submitted alongwith fee and undertaking to the effect that the industry is complying with the consent/ authorization conditions and achieve the effluent / emission standards at all times.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The site inspection shall be carried out in due course of time. In case of any violations, appropriate action shall be taken under the relevant provisions of the Acts/ Rules.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In case of any complaint/ violation, the consent/ authorization shall automatically consider to be revoked.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Marriage Palace shall comply with the Board's letter no.
