<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">While processing the case its came to the knowledge of this office that the industry had applied for the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management, and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 application which was returned as directed by the Board due to violations cited by this office under the said Rules. The industry is not having valid authorization under the said rules and the application for extending 'CONSENT TO OPERATE' under The Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 is still under process. The E-note of under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management, and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 is being put up separately. If approved, the NOC expansion application may be returned with the request to the industry to the apply till both the above matters are settled. </p> |
