<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that PP has applied for CTE extension. It is intimated that RO reported that construction work is in progress but PP has not obtained the valid EC, PP does not comply with conditions of previously granted EC as well as CTE conditions, and PP has not submitted detail of CSR activity. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Therefore SCN for refusal of consent to operate applied under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 along with an opportunity to submit the reply within 7 days issued to the PP vide Board's letter no. 7076-77 dated 18/11/2022.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">PP has submitted the reply w.r.t SCN, s. RO has reported that PP is not fully complying.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that PP has obtained valid EC as per reply submitted by PP</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved CTE extension applied by the PP may be granted up to 31/3/23 with the special condition proposed by E.E, RO ( in note 31/10/22) and additional conditions may also be imposed:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1) The project proponent shall install the smog gun in the present with immediate effect.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3. <!--[endif]-->PP shall submit the compliance report of the previously granted E.C. including detail of CSR activity with financial expenditure that occurred/ to be occurred on annotated form as well as NOC conditions and submit the same in O/o EE, RO, SAS Nagar within 15 days. </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!--[endif]-->EE, RO may also be requested to visit the site to monitor the STP, verify the mode of disposal, and verify the compliance of E.C and NOC conditions as submitted by the P.P. as per condition no. 3 of the NOC extension and verify compliance with environmental law and send the report along with recommendations.</span></p>
