<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It intimated direction u/s 33-A underwater act was confirmed vide no. 3130-31 dated 23.05.2022 as the industry violated the provision of the water Act,1974. thereafter the industry obtained the CTO under the Water Act,1974 in the green category ( along with the electric connection of the industry (Plot no. D-27) was temporarily restored up to 08.12.2022.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Now the industry has applied varied CTO both in red category Plot no. D-27 & D-28 for manufacturing of Industrial Screw with Zinc plating Scrrews @ 500 MT/Year as products in Plot no. D-27 & D-28.the industry has also made MOU with CETP operator i.e. M/s Bentech Water Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana on 21.06.2022 for the lifting of trade effluent @ 40,000 ltr/month.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> RO has reported that only cutting, threading and hardening processes were in operation the unit has installed its platting section and plot no. D-28 and the same was not in operation and the seal was found intact on all the plating barrels. It has installed 02 tanks of capacity 5000 each (i.e. total 10,000 ltr.) for storage of trade effluent to be generated from the unit. RO has also reported that the Site is suitable for such type of project.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved following action may be approved, please.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1) <!--[endif]-->Varied CTO under Water Act,1974 applied by the industry may be granted for six months with the special conditions as proposed by EE, RO. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">EE, RO may be requested to visit the industry as protocol framed by the Board for permanent restoration of electric connection.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2)</span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">PSPCL may be directed to further temporarily restore the electric connection available with the industry, for 6 months</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3)EE,RO may be allowed to remove the seals placed on plating barrels installed by the industry.</span></p>
