CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/17669879 dated 24.01.2022 valid upto 30.06.2025 for production of knitted polyester cloth @ 300 Kgs/day & dyed polyester cloth on job basis @ 03 TPD for discharge of trade effluent @ 250 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment through ETP along with one boiler of capacity 03 TPH with twin cyclone followed by dual stage wet scrubber & one DG set of capacity 200 KVA equipped with canopy.<span style="color: red;"> </span></span></p>

CTE/Exp/LDH3/2022/17665431 dated 22.03.2022 valid upto 19.01.2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production of Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 25 Ton/Day or Dyeing and Finishing of Cotton/Polyester Cotton (Pc) @ 9.375 Ton/Day with discharge of trade effluent @ 250.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment in ETP & remaining 250 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD and domestic effluent @2.0 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank & 0.8 KLD into the conveyance system to CETP 50 MLD located at Tajpur Road, Ludhiana along with two boilers of capacity @ 06 TPH & 03 TPH, 8 new soft flow machines and three DG sets of capacity 300 KVA, 200 KVA & 82 KVA with canopies each. </span></p>

However, the industry has granted 434 KLD shares on 22.07.2022 of CETP, hence the discharge of the industry is 106 KLD more than the share allotted to it. Hence around 20% machinery of the industry was required to be sealed i.e. 01 soft flow of 450 Kg & 01 soft flow 300 Kg was sealed during visit on 18.10.2022 as per directions of the Competent Authority of the Board.</span></p>

The industry has provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>It is pertinent to mentioned here that the directions has been issued by the Board vide letter no. 6369-73 dated 17.10.2022 that no industry will install any new dyeing machinery without prior permission of the Board. In this case the industry had already obtained the NOC from the Board prior to above directions of the Board. However, the above said NOC was obtained by the industry for the discharge of </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">trade effluent @ 250.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment in ETP & remaining 250 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD, but present CTO has been applied for the discharge of trade effluent & domestic effluent @ 434 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.</span></p>
