<p style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the note and recommendation given by RO. RO has monitored the boiler stack, as per the analysis report, all the parameters are found within prescribed limits, but RO has not monitored the stack after APCD to control the process emissions of HCL and SO2 generated from the ESC Plant & PMMBCN Plant. The TIET team has submitted the audit report through e-mail dated 7/10/2022. RO has also reported that the industry did comply with the provision of the Air Act,1981 during the visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> If approved renewal CTO under Air Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30/6/2023 subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall carryout the measures suggested in the audit report (as and when received) immediately.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->No further extension in the consent will be given if industry shall not comply with the suggestions as per the audit report.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall be bound to upgrade its treatment as well as MEE as per suggestions to be made by the TIET team (Thapar University, Patiala).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The industry shall comply with the suggestions made by Thappar University in its air audit report of the unit, in true letter and spirit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The industry shall submit revised building plans of its existing unit M/s Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection Ltd. (Pharma Division) before bifurcating its premises for establishment of its proposed unit i.e. M/s Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection Ltd. (Unit-II); within one month.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The industry shall comply with the SOP (standard operating procedure) for recovery of spent solvent (applicable to captive utilization part) issued by the CPCB in Feb, 2021, in true letter & spirit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US">7. </span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The industry shall ensure that the entire fuel ash generated is utilized in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8. <!--[endif]-->EE, RO may also be requested to visit the industry as per protocol framed by the Board to monitor all stacks installed by the industry, verify the compliance with environmental law and E.E, Regional Office also give comemnts on the audit report submitted by the TIET, Patiala.</p>
