<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">It is intimated that earlier the industry is a small scale green category was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 both are valid upto 31.12.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Now, the industry has submitted online application for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with CA certificate of Rs.9.65 lakhs. The industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 9000/- vide UTR no. SBIN122313311590 dated 9.11.2022 under Water Act 1974 and & Rs. 9000/- vide UTR no. SBIN122313313476 dated 9.11.2022 under Air Act 1981 which is adequate for 10 years upto 31.12.2032 under each Act as per office order no 524 dated 29.10.2018.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The industry has submitted an undertaking to the effect that: </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">That industry has no source of air pollution except DG set of 125 KVA with canopy with adequate stack heigh.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">That the industry does not generate any trade effluent. The uses 0.5 KLD of domestic effluent which is disposed off onto land for plantation through septic tank. Hence, the Analysis report is not required.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">That the industry is complying with all the conditions and code of practice prescribed for such unit by the Govt. of Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 76.5pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 5.05pt .0001pt -4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Further, the industry has submitted compliance report that it is complying with the conditions of consents granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 76.5pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 5.05pt .0001pt -4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">In view of above, may if approved it is recommended that the<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>consent to operate under the<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974<span style="letter-spacing: 3.4pt;"> </span>and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>be renewed up to 31.12.2032 as per the provisions of the Boards office no. 443 dated 09.08.2021 subject to the suitable conditions</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">.</span></p> |
