<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The hotel had earlier applied for obtaining ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. </span></p>

The project proponent has not obtained necessary permission from GLADA/ Concerned Department regarding discharge of treated waste water into sewer line. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The hotel was not complying with the special conditions of NOC granted to it under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and thus was violating the provisions of the said Acts. The consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 applied by the hotel were refused on 06.08.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Thereafter, notice u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 was issued to the hotel with an opportunity of personal hearing before Chief Environmental Engineer, Ludhiana 30.09.2022 and it was d</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">ecided that:-</span></p>

The industry has deposited Rs. 54000/- vide online R. no: N171222005895732 dated 20.06.2022 & Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR No. N294222174077277 dated 21.10.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 54000/- vide online R. no: N171222005895727 dated 20.06.2022 & Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR No. N294222174067932 dated 21.10.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate for period upto <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">30.06.2032 under said acts</span>. </span></p>
