<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">The undersigned was busy on 30.11.2022 and on 01.12.2022 at STP Phagwara (20 & 8 MLD) for making preparations as per the instructions of the higher auhtorities for the Hon'ble Cabinet minister's visit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">In regard to the observations raised by the Zonal office ,it is intimated that the site of the industry was visited on 21.11.22 and it was observed that the industry is now using tankers for sprinkling of treated effluent in open area for storage of raw material to control dust emissions by movement of heavy vehicles. As it has now complied with with the decisions of the personal hearing and has adopted a mechanism to control dust emissions and in now complying under the Air Act,1981. keeping in view of the above ,It is recommended that the CTO under the Air act,1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024 with usual conditions as per the Board's policy subjected to the special condition that industry shall not use fresh water for sprinkling in its open area for controlling dust and shall only use treated effluent from the STP.</span></p> |
