CTOA/Fresh/TRT/2019/9466944 dated 14/06/2019, which is valid up to 13/09/2019 with suitable conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: red;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Now, the subject cited brick kiln has applied for varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and fresh consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (under Orange Category) for the manufacturing of bricks and tiles @ 7200000 Nos/Year.<span style="color: red;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The brick kiln has deposited Rs.25200/- vide UTR No. N333222224001795 dated 29/11/2022 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 7200/- vide UTR No. N333222224038891 dated 29/11/2022 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 5400/- vide UTR No. N333222224201094 dated 29/11/2022 as Penalty under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 1100/- vide UTR No. N333222224054537 dated 29/11/2022 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500/- vide UTR No. N333222224058882 dated 29/11/2022 as application form fee to make the consents fee adequate up to 30/09/2032 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 30/09/2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 against the fixed assets of the industry below 25 Lakhs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: red;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has already submitted completion certificate issued by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/927 intimating that the industry has modified its existing brick kiln into induced Draft Brick Kiln with Zigzag Firing on its own length of Central Island of brick kiln is more than 245 ft.. This completion certificate is issued with the condition that the Kiln owner will ensure the implementation of recommended operating practices as per the Feasibility Report (SPL-1194/2K).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: red;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">It is further intimated that Punjab Pollution Control Board vide its order no. 346 dated 01/08/2016 has decided that Environmental Clearance for mining of brick earth will not be a pre-requisite for the grant of consent to operate to the brick kilns.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Keeping in view of the above, may if approved, the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the brick kiln for a period up to 30/09/2023 with the conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The brick kiln will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as a raw material for the manufacturing of bricks as per Head Office order no. 346 dated 1/8/2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The brick kiln shall get its stack emission analyzed as per policy of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The consent is subject to the orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court for the state of Punjab & Haryana/Hon’ble National Green Tribunal or other judiciary authority in the cases pending or being filed with regard to the subject matter of the office order.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The consent is subject to the performance evaluation of new technology adopted by the brick kiln.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The brick kiln will plant adequate trees around the boundary of the Brick Kiln.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The brick kiln shall comply all the guidelines issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board/CPCB.</span></p> |
